Scouts 10 1/2 - 14
With all the knowledge learned in the lower sections the Scout section is for putting this into practice. Our Scout section meets between 1900-2100 on Tuesdays at Kipling Hall (Rembrandt Drive). After a briefing of what the night activity consists of its down to buiness with cooking a pancake over a tea candle, preparing for a camp that is coming up, a bit of knot practice or even some basic wiring. This is then followed by a game or two to round of the evening.
Scouts work towards 9 challenge badges and there are 59 Activity badges avilable
15 other staged badges are also available. These are carried over to the next section.
As with Beavers and Cubs completeion of the 9 challenge badges and 6 activity/staged badges the Chief Scouts Gold Award can be added to your uniform
