Family Camp Fun
Approx. 75 people enjoyed the sun, fun and activities at Hopehill for the Groups Family Camp. This event has been running for over 30 years and was probably one of the warmest we have enjoyed. On Friday families took part in an evening of Frog Racing and Giant Twister, then on Saturday it was time for Climbing, Shooting and Archery with a chance to enjoy other activities in the afternoon, or if you preferred to relax and chat and watch the games, or the children playing in the sand pit. The waterslide was enjoyed by everyone who was mad enough to take part, but especially those adults who are still children at heart. Saturday evening saw us enjoying a Bar-B-Q and then a trip down memory lane looking at photos of camps from years gone by. On Sunday 50 campers took a leisurely stroll to the Green Man at Hodsall Street, before returning to Hopehill for the hardest task of all - clearing up. The camp was a great success and we have already booked for next year - 30th August to 1st September. See you there!!
